What will you do in Social Point?

 

We have a new opportunity for a hands-on IT Manager to join the IT Team where you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the corporate technology infrastructure, as well as mentoring, growing and managing the IT Team.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast pace and collaborative environment whilst communicating effectively with others in the organization.

 

  • Administering a complex network stack spread over 8 floors with multiple vlans and wifi networks routing Internet traffic through 2 different providers.

  • Managing around 280 multiplatform workstations (Mac, Windows, Linux) plus a bunch of different mobile devices and gadgets.

  • Managing corporate applications such as Google Gsuite, Atlassian Jira / Confluence as well as in-house developed tools.

  • Improving and administering a couple of on-premises / cloud server farms.

  • Enabling the IT Team to take full ownership of the infrastructure.

  • Defining and applying IT Policies and Procedures.

  • Managing IT Suppliers (agreements, licenses, warranties).

 

This is you

 

  • Three years of experience managing IT Teams.

  • Scripting skills (shell, perl, python, ...)
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English is a must).

  • Ability to work fast in multicultural environments and to build effective working relations.

  • Methodic, results-oriented and self-demanding.

  • Plenty of initiative.

 

You also have

 

  • Experience designing and implementing offices networks.

  • Experience managing Directory Services and Single Sign On (SSO) Solutions. (Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, Okta).

  • Experience administering Version Control Systems (GitHub, GitLab, SVN).

  • Experience in agile methodologies.

  • Experience in Legal Compliance and Governance and Security Procedures.
